Career Transition
When I began working with Marla my thoughts about coaching were … that I would receive tips on how to best look for a position. What I received, however, was a personalized guide for self discovery. Marla encouraged me to look and think outside the box of my traditional career skill set application and consider how I might apply these skills elsewhere.
As I worked with Marla, I began to realize that I was fearful of making changes to my career plans and goals. Through some thought-provoking questions and follow up discussions, I was able to identify key elements needed in my next position and company. She encouraged me to admit my fears and to embrace change to move forward.
I would refer Marla to others because she intuitively hears what is not being said and then gently revisits the opportunity to open dialogue at the right time. Her encouragement empowered me to admit what I wanted and needed in my next career. I am very pleased with Marla’s work! - M.K. (Individual in Career Transition) – Charlotte, NC
