TeamWide Solutions was called upon to improve communication and working relationships among the employees. Participants included approximately 40 employees and mid-level managers from every department in the company.

- Gain Clarity: We chose the Path Element ProfileTM assessment, which uses the four essential elements of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire to classify behavior and communication styles.
- Create Awareness: All of the employees agreed that the assessment was spot-on in describing their own and their peers’ behavior styles.
- Try on New Behaviors: Throughout the day, various team building exercises allowed the team members to work together to find innovative solutions to their problems. They really embraced and enjoyed a new way of understanding how to be successful when talking to others; particularly those with an opposite behavior style.
- Growth and Change: Following the workshop, employees posted their essential element symbol on their door or desk, added the symbol to their email signature, and included their PEP types in their employee directory. This visual cue helped them determine if they needed to adapt their natural behavior when speaking or interacting with a co-worker.
- Signs of Success: As part of the hiring process, each new employee takes a Path Element Profile assessment and participates in a mini-version of the full-day workshop. New employees are encouraged to proudly share their PEP type with their co-workers to help them assimilate into a new work culture. The benefits are numerous and continue to reinforce the belief that differences are not good or bad; differences are meant to be leveraged for the success of a team.
