For as long as she can remember, Marla’s true calling was to nurture and help others and to foster harmony among friends and coworkers. That calling has played out in many ways throughout her personal and professional life and eventually led her to become a coach. As co-founder of TeamWide Solutions, Marla uses her calling to focus on helping business teams collaborate, communicate, and innovate.

After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Special Education, Marla combined her penchant for teaching with her interest in business and began a 20+ year career adventure as a consultant, manager, trainer, and entrepreneur.

As a senior manager for LogicWorks, a technology start-up in Princeton, NJ, Marla led a 10-person technical writing team. There, she was committed to identifying and leveraging the diverse interests, talents, and experience of each member of her team while successfully achieving outstanding results in a highly competitive industry.

After moving to Charlotte, NC, Marla graduated from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte’s Business Coach Program, which allowed her to parley her business experience with her core value of helping others. Marla is committed to ongoing learning through self-education and continuing participation in coach training programs; she earned a certificate as a Leadership and Talent Management Coach.

She is deeply committed to the coaching profession and has a diverse client base of business leaders and individuals. As an active board member of the International Coach Federation-Charlotte Area Chapter, Marla stays connected to the local and global professional coaching community.

Marla uses her coaching skills and business experience as a speaker, facilitator, presenter, and coach for several community organizations including: Jacobs Ladder, YWCA - Women In Transition Program, Salvation Army, Community Culinary Institute, and various career transition support groups.
